Amelia could be playing in the U14s, but she chose to stay with her teammates and compete with the U16s, and what a choice that's been. Facing bigger opponents every week, Amelia doesn't back down. She laces up, smiles, and hustles.
Her defensive tenacity has been outstanding. She battles hard against girls bigger than her, and time and again that doggedness turns into something magical: smiles, high fives, and a team that feeds off her energy. She trains every session without fail, brings her smile every single time, and never stops giving it her best.
