City Limits Basketball Club (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a community basketball club based in Newcastle, NSW. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, how we use it, and who we share it with.

Contact form

When you submit the contact form on our website, we collect your name, email address, and the content of your message. We use this information solely to respond to your enquiry. We do not use it for marketing purposes or share it with third parties except as described below.

Analytics

We use two analytics tools to understand how visitors use our site.

Cloudflare Web Analytics is privacy-first: it does not use cookies, does not track individuals across sites, and collects only aggregate information such as page views, referrer URLs, and general device and browser type.

Google Analytics 4 collects information about your visit — including the pages you view, how long you spend on each page, your approximate location (region/city level), and your device and browser type. Google Analytics uses cookies (small text files stored in your browser) to distinguish visitors and sessions. These cookies persist for up to two years. The data is sent to and processed by Google on servers outside Australia. Google Analytics does not collect your name, email address, or other information that directly identifies you. IP addresses are anonymised before storage.

You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or by clearing or blocking cookies in your browser settings.

How we use your information

Information submitted via the contact form is used only to respond to your message. We do not add you to any mailing list, contact you beyond your enquiry, or use your details for any other purpose without your explicit consent.

Third parties

We use trusted third-party service providers to operate this website. Third-party providers currently include Google (analytics) and Resend (email delivery). These providers process your information only as necessary to perform those functions and are not permitted to use it for any other purpose. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party.

Data retention

Contact form submissions are retained in our system to allow us to follow up on enquiries. If you would like your information removed, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
